Eczema Symptoms
Symptoms can be totally
unique to the sufferer, affecting no two people the same way.
These are the most
common symptoms of Eczema, sometimes know as Contact Dermatitis.
- Skin rashes
- Redness and inflammation and
swelling.
- Itching dry skin. Eczema
almost
always itches. If you don't have itchy skin, it probably isn’t
eczema.
- In severe exacerbation of Atopic
Eczema the may be heat and temperature disturbances as the whole body
becomes involved.
- Cracks in skin, scaly and
flaking.
- Bleeding and weeping skin.
- Burning and stinging sensations.
- Feeling low and down can result,
even clinical depression in extreme cases.
- Eczema blisters, these may occur
in some forms of Eczema.
- Eczema scars can occur from
perpetual scratching.
Is Eczema
contagious? No, it’s not
contagious; you can’t catch it from someone else. However, it can get
infected. Breaks in the skin, often caused by scratching, make it
vulnerable to bacterial infection with further complicates the problem
and slows healing.
